i'm seriously loving these materials . and still impressed with the gate . i bet the game versions don't look 1/4th as good as what you're making

This would be the church.[link] Of coarse the game was from '97 so the textures arn't very high

lol . certainly nothing near what you're doing . i can't wait until computers are fast enough to render realistic animations in real time

You mean on-the-spot animations? That's funny because this game was the first to use kinemation or inverse kinematics [link]
for the animation. It's sort of hard to describe. But it's sort of like rigging the foot of a model to have a physics push upwards at a certain speed and angle, causing the animation. Here [link] is a video demonstrating the animations of the raptor.

As you might be able to tell it's a very unrealistic animation process. Not to mention the animals getting tripped up on the terrain.
Here is the wiki page for the game. [link]

that's past my knowledge at present , but i think i understand . the raptor video link was the same as the first link you posted , but i watched a few relative vids on youtube including gameplay it looks really annoying to play

It's actually one of my favorite games. I'm a massive Jurassic Park fan so I was patient enough to get really good at the game. I've learned to over look it's shortcomings and appreciate how ambitious and innovative it was.

Of course the new Jurassic Park game [link] is coming out in April!!!!

i know what you mean . to me Saints Row 2 has a few major flaws , but i love it so much that it's still my favorite game . funny that i've never tried to model anything from it .. so what are your plans for these peices you're making ? are you going to assemble them into one render of a base or something like that ? it's cool that you're getting another title this year i'm looking forward to Portal 2 in mid April as well

Well I'm thinking of remodeling the entire town in with CAD. That means a lot more models to make. lol
