ive always been afraid of putting something like that white object in solid color and instead always made it transparent or something alike. but somehow you manage to pull it off and not just that, make it look really nice also o.O /me is jealous

Once again, this definitely gets my thumbs up. I'm curious about a couple things: why did you choose a canvas texture for a background, and how did you create the white sploch? What tools did you use?

You know, I'm not crazy about the texture, but I love love love the colors and the design overall of this guy. The little touches of red on the left side set it off perfectly.

What is the most impressing (to me, for what it's worth) is the way that you made the background's texture work with the whole piece. I mean, this is the first I'm seeing something like that pulled off quite nicely (besides the basic 'ol gradient stuff that a lot of other digi-artists use -- which work too).
Total sweetness.
And, of course, you did a sweet job on the whole grunge feel to it .. abstract = killer.

aah, this is slick and you know it! I get the feeling of a minimalistic gui/shell with that paneling.
love the details like the red arrow/target radio buttons
Add 320pixel side *panel* to that and I'll throw that on my laptop in a heartbeat!

This just works great as a wall. The background texture is very subtle, especially compared to the bottom right corner, but it ties all the elements together, and makes even the bare sections interesting. Theres plenty of space for icons and the possibilites for that bar at the top are almost endless.
