i just got my new close up lenses in the mail and i thought i would play with them after the rain.... i know everyone and their mother has shots of rain drops on leaves... but well...i like how mine came out too and wanted to share thanks for lookingRelated content

nice shot! a brill capture of the very building blocks of life itself - and as said earlier, a "brave new world" (Ohh Shakespeare!) in itself!!
kinda makes you think about our own lives - if that drop holds an entire eco-system of billions of lives, and we know it to be nothing 'more' then a water-droplet - what if that drop was our galaxy, our universe in fact - - how significant are we in Life itself, or should we simply cherish the fact that we have been blessed with life?
I think I prefer the later!!

I think that all has been said about this shot.
My views are that it is instantly captivating. It is one of those, 'sit and and stare' photos, with a vibrancy and uniqueness that has an instant magnetic attraction.
The greens here simply slap you across the face, they are so stunning, and although some people have seen the shallow depth of field as a negative thing, I think it simply draws the eye in magnificently to the drop of rain and all of its imperfection and glory, something which only nature can excel at.

mmmh, I like the way it came out too, this is so great !
This is almost unreal, looks like a plastic bubble. The
focal point is perfect, I like the way it fades the background
and very foreground into blurry green zones.

The detailed drop of water definitely is the strong point of this great photo. I like the soft green and the focus.. turned out very good. I remember you first steps in photography.. youยดve become a lot better.. its absolutely fantastic!

I don't have any pics like that.. I guess I'm missing out.. But I almost took a picture of the plant-life after an ice storm.. It had an eerie look to it... I wanted to take a pic of it, but my mom wouldn't let me, I guess because I could of slipped out there.. Your mom won't let you take pics all the time.. Very Nice Pic, I'm jealous of your lenses..

Raindrops on leaves are kind of like a rite of passage for macro photoggraphy. If you can do it well [and you have] than you can use what you learned to do other interesting macros and begin experimenting with the process. Nice work.
