This was taken at a Cemetery in eastern France for fallen WWI American Soldiers. Its one of the largest American cemeteries.Related content

Very cool. I dig this photo of yours. I think it is perfectly fine to have that much sky in this photo as it creates symmetry between the earth/sky, but I would like to see another one where there is only 10% sky visible.

I have almost this same photo but offset with a Star of David marker from nearly 30 years ago! I love the natural symmetry here.

It was an incredible place. I actually have several Star of David pics from different cemeteries in Europe. Several had stones that a family memeber would place on them. Its a tradition I wasnt aware of before. I'll try and upload some of those.

I like the symmetry you put in very nicely here, but it's a pity the cross in the front got 'cut off'.

Yeah, you really have to.
Try to kneel on the ground, so you also have less sky.
