This piece has a kind of funny story. I had just started my AP art concentration, which, summed up, is "things that piss me off." It's actually a lot more complex than that, but hey, whatever. It was also about layering. So I found a notebook I had when I was about 3 and took notes on it at a model UN conference. These notes were really just me making jokes to my friends. Then this one girl gets up and reccommends that women in developing african nations should sell cell phones to their peers to make money. I was just in shock. So I took all my notes, and my placard which I had spent the better part of the conference doodling on, and made some art from it.Related content

Wow, you have such an interesting style! It keeps my brain working. I love the frame with all of the organic shapes in it, in front of the phone...this must have taken many, many hours. Very devoted!

This picture is way too big to see all the details AND se it as a whole picture.. I like it, but would have liked it more if I could studyed it a bit.

I like all the paisley detailing - you should do that on scratch paper (it's black and has rainbow colors underneath - you scratch away the black and it leaves the rainbow - very cool stuff).
On the thumbnail it looked even real! I thought it was a photo at first.

very cool, you have some interesting layering and textures going on in this picture, it looks like a neat collage. i agree, cellphones really suck. nice shading and detail and i really like the color choice, the blue in the background really makes it Pop!

Oh yes, this is what my cell phone looked like after my friend's horse stepped on it. Needless to say I replaced it... I like this, it made me laugh. Good Work!

This is really cool. I like how you use pieces of paper to make it a sort of collage. The papers in the cell phone screen really add to it, I think, instead of it just being a normal screen.
