So..."Steven Universe" is one of my all-time favorite shows. Seriously. I love it.
I finished these fusion Gems I made line art for a while back - Sugilite and Opal.
Sugilite's skin turned out a lot more...Amethyst-ish. Especially in the scan. Dammit.
I think I did alright with Opal's skin, considering two of my most important skintone markers died when I tried coloring her. This resulted in a very happy accident - I end up doing her skin slightly iridescent-looking...like an Opal. I guess that makes the actual Opal gems on her less visible, but...oh well. I liked the idea, anyway.
Meh. Let me know what you guys think! I haven't colored anything in a long time, and I feel like my coloring skills have been...slipping. Especially with the finished product of the Morrigan and Hsien-Ko drawing....I still have to see if I can make it look halfway decent before posting that.
(( By the way, this is the Sugilite I want to cosplay, for those of you who didn't know. ))
