So, I got this idea from another idea of DJ-Sakuya 's.Basically that Sissi is the angriest tank, armed and armored up to ridiculous lengths. I tried to base this more on the fantasy vibes the season 1-3 Lyoko outfits have, but....yeah.
Honestly, I would've much rather had Sissi go to Lyoko than William.
But then again, I can dream about shit like this because it wasn't written in stone, ha ha.
But, yeah. This was just to get the idea out. I'm going to be making a final piece that I actually color, heh heh.
Note: That's not her middle finger in the one doodle. It's her index finger. I just wanted to clarify because it might be a bit hard to tell the difference with how small that is....
PS, this may go in scraps later. Not sure yet.

Not sure how they actually would've done Sissi as a Lyoko Warrior, but that means I get to decide that something like this would've been the best thing they could've done, ha ha.
Not sure they really woulda taken that kind of route, though. I'm sure what it would've been is far closer to the fan designs actually taking "accuracy" more seriously, ha ha.

Like I said, I would've much rather had Sissi join instead of William. She almost was, at one point. I'm not really sure what the difference between choosing William to help and asking Sissi to help again. Ulrich never had a great relationship with either, Yumi didn't quite trust William, and....I suppose Odd doesn't really like Sissi too much, but I never really got any strong vibes either way from Jeremie. He seemed to be the glue that held to group together, too. He made a lot of important calls.
But, yeah. Both Sissi and William are archetypal characters, but Sissi was developed beyond just the archetype she was supposed to represent. William has always felt kinda....bland to me. It -would've- been a lot of fun if we'd gotten Sissi, especially with the new group dynamic that would've developed.
William getting immediately possessed by XANA honestly kind of felt like an artificial way of extending the series. Although I do prefer season 4 over season 3. Season 3 was just kinda...boring to me, ha ha. I guess it didn't help that it was also the shortest, but still....

yeah. i never understood the point of making a new character just to basically kill him off a few episodes later. i know william never died but him being possessed is pretty similar. william could've been made to prevent complaints of sexism (cause no offence to aelita, but she's kind of a damsel in distress. also her voice is annoying.)
also, why did they make william when he's basically identical to sissi except she's more interesting?

What was the sexism thing about? Do you mean that they may have made William so he could make an even bigger asshole of himself?
They -kind of- have an excuse for Aelita being completely useless in combat in the first two seasons.
Kind of.
And taking her sweet time deactivating towers is both hilarious and infuriating at the same time, ha ha.
But Aelita really grew on me. And I kinda think her voice is pleasant, almost soothing. Almost.
But that might stem from my lady crush on Aelita in 3rd grade. I always thought she was so kind and understanding, ha ha. And her voice was very distinctive to me. Also her name.
Actually, when I went to research and rewatch "Code Lyoko" a while back, Aelita's name was the only character name I remembered correctly, ha ha. It's such a pretty name, and an odd name, heh heh.

hmm... the sexism thing... maybe some feminists complained about aelita so moonscoop made william and gave aelita weapons so they'd stop complaining.
and aelita had no weapons for the first two seasons so yeah she has an excuse for being basically useless.
also, the scenes where odd is practically dying and aelita is doing slo-mo backflips are pure gold.
i actually don't really mind aelita's voice, it's just the sounds she makes when she runs away from stuff are REALLY ANNOYING! <--- like him

A lot of the screams or otherwise noises of concern are pretty ridiculous though, to be honest. Have you heard other members of the cast? For some reason, whoever was directing them had an odd idea about how they should sound when in danger....
Oddly enough, if memory serves me correctly, Odd is the one with the least annoying sounds like that....weird.
There are places in the series though where he's almost unbearable, ha ha.
And yeah, the XANA-has-some-of-her-data thing that took away her memory and defense was kind of convenient for the plot in a couple ways, ha ha...but I think the giving her powers thing was to further the character in general.
I don't think it was feminists. Tumblr's become a breeding ground for people who'd draw up petitions and harass the studio, but I'm not sure that kind of thing would've actually happened around 2003, given the differing resources, communication, and probable ability of "Code Lyoko" to fly under the radar.

yeah, all the noises are really annoying. now that i think about it, the voice acting in code lyoko wasn't all that great (especially jeremie's voice changes). this is just my opinion. from what i remember, odd had the most annoying voice so if he had the least annoying sounds of concern... that's kinda...odd (what a pun)
i think the taking away aelita's memory thing actually happened more when aelita actually had powers!
and yeah, it probably wasn't feminists because there only started being loads of feminists around 2012/2013.
like tumblr didn't even exist in 2003
