Name: Isanbard

Occupation: Writer

Personality: Quite snooty and pompous in the same manner as Gracie, can be found around town muttering to himself in a state of deep concentration.

Purpose: Isanbard drops in every once in a while to wanders around your village contemplating life. Almost suddenly, he can be in desperate need of some paper to write down his latest thoughts, provide him with some paper and he’ll be delighted, and shall leave. A couple of days later, he will send you a copy of his latest scripture, along with some exclusive writing paper. He’ll even drop of a note into your Wii inbox.

Design notes: Paper is so underused in AC, other aspects of the game, like clothes and wallpaper have a character designated to them, whereas the only places paper can be found are at Nook’s, the recycling centre, or found be Booker, so I thought a character was needed to revive the use of paper. Isanbard is loosely based on Shakespeare, as well as your typical renaissance man. Originally called just Bard; but that looked a little too obvious. He is based on a Cuttlefish, so he dosen't need to buy any ink. He also has a little Super Mario Blooper thrown in there to. ^_^
