Description Ceramics teapot in the shape of an old tree stump. This thing really holds water but its sorta heavy and awkward, so I don't know if I'll ever use it.

It's very whimsicle. I like it a lot

What kind of glaze did you use? It looks rather matte, is that right?

I actually used Harness Leather CY-glaze, which turned out greener than I expected, probably due to it being fired in a gas kiln. Anyway, the CY glazed are non-shiny and are made to look like earth tones. I then went over the whole thing with a brown acrylic wash. It worked pretty well. Thanks for the comment!

Ah, the courtyard glazes are some of my favorites. However, I don't remember harnessed leather being green at all. The only green one I know if is desert pine, so maybe you used that one by accident... But then again, I'm not too sure about it... Anyways, it looks good green, so it doesn't really matter.

Yeah, I don't know of any Harness Leather being green either. That's why I was so surprised it came out like this... I checked the glaze bottle twice and everything! Sometimes weird things can happen. I think the photo also makes it look a little greener than it actually is.

Thanks for the comment though, and Happy Creating... haha.

Well thank you! I throw sometimes, but I dislike how everything thrown is more or less symmetrical and monotonous. Plus, I'm not very good at it. But thank you for the comment! I really respect your work so to get positive feeback from you is the highest praise. Have a good one. -Heather
