Description Here is the second half of my Digital design final project a print layout.
This is made to be a page out of a beading magazine or something of the sort. On the file and print I'm handing in there is no watermark and url and my name is not scribbled out.

Feel free to follow this and make a daisy chain but that is usually the first thing you learn how to make when you start beading.

Tools:
Adobe Illustrator CS3: all
I really should have used indesign if I had wanted to be more professional but the class is focused mostly on Illustrator and didn't touch upon InDesign. I know InDesign because of my old job.

Finally one daisy chain tut that makes sense. I had a book, but the tut there made it sound like... I dunno - beading prehistoric animals.

Thank you. That sounds like a REALLY bad beading book. The great thing about daisy chains is you can make them with any color combination to suit your style. You don't even have to use all the same color for all the flowers or 'stems'. I've made one where the 'stem' is rainbow. I wonder what happened to that necklace.

Yep. I'd try it out if I wasn't running out of any suitable daisy chain beads. (I've got drops and spearheads left, mainly).
The book ain't too bad, some things come really handy, but their daisy chain tut was surely too wordy.

I have a couple beading books/magazines but mostly I just play. My mom taught me how to make a daisy chain when I first started beading as a kid. Actually she taught my whole girlscout troop. We were daisies hehehe.

Girlscouts, aye. Pretty cool. I've almost been a pioneer, and then a boyscout, since our class' teacher was boyscout leader and we were all boyscouts.

I mostly just play, too, but there are patterns one doesn't just come up herself, and some basics need to be learned, methinks.

Thank you! I'm amazed how popular this has been. It was my final for a college class that I decided to post here too and I'm so glad I did.

THanks. I used to make these all the time. You can use different colors to make it look however you want it.
