Just minutes earlier the Imperial Fleet had been fighting a desperate battle over Vil Prime but now they were escorting their foe out of Imperial space as if nothing happened, for as the two fleets clashed a peace treaty was signed between the ancient Vorggan Empire and the alliance of the younger races including the Empire of Mankind.This is what happens when you join federations, you get dragged into every conflict.

Its basically real time civilization in space. Only problems I have with the game are that there can be long wait times between interactions between nations and you can take direct control of fleets during battles
