"The Type 57 DMR is a heavy hitting rifle utilizing .30-06 electromagnetic cartridges. While generally fielded as a DMR officially within the G.O.E.D. military, due to its ammunition, it is also fielded by sniper teams. Sniper modifications include a built in bipod, 6-10x magnification scope, longer barrel, range designator attachment, and specialized .30-06 ammunition that flies faster and has a timed explosive charge. On occasion snipers may use ulitis cored explosive ammo for an "extra bang" that would leave a corpse looking like it got hit with a tank shell. Compared to a Lenshar weapon the Type 57s design is entirely human being created to fit human hands. While the citizenry sees flaws in that statement, it is mostly for the sole reason that the G.O.E.D. military is still primarily human unlike Ark Union MSU or even the Orders military and that the DMR is specifically only for military use. G.O.E.D. soldiers are implanted with designation chips that not only act as a soldiers identification but also act as an activation key for G.O.E.D. weaponry. Should anybody else try to use the DMR, or any G.O.E.D. weapon for that matter, said individual will be locked out from the guns functions. If the individual continue to try and use the weapon, the weapon will provide a violent shock that would generally incapacitate an average person."
