When and how did you get started in Cosplay? I started in 2013 after watching other people during a convention in my town. They seemed so happy and I suddenly thought that I wanted to be like them.
What was your first Cosplay? Madame Red from Black Butler.
What was the most difficult character? The most difficult one? Well, I'd like to say ALL OF THEM but if I have to choose just one cosplay, I think it's Widowmaker from Overwatch.
What characters are you planning and type of character are you drawn to? I've got to many projects, but I think the first I'll work on will be Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn: I really love her personality and the game, so it will be a pleasure for me to work on her as soon as possible! Also, I think that Aloy describes the typical character that I love to cosplay to: stronge and brave girls, ready to fight for their will. But I don't know: maybe my tastes could change!
What is your process when starting from the beginning with a new cosplay? Oh well... I don't know! Sometimes I start buying the fabrics for the outfit but I haven't one pattern!
Are there any helpful hints in sewing, costume design or any other aspects of your cosplay that you discovered in doing your creations? Nothing specific.
Do you have a preferred brand of makeup in your cosplay? And if so why? Not a favorite one. Usually, I try to choose the best makeup for the character without taking care about the brand.
What are you listening to? EVERYTHING.
Favorite Movies? Too many to choose just one of them ^^'.
Favorite Animes? I got many... but Berserk it's my favorite one (the 1980 version, or the 3 OAV BUT NOT the new ones, they're .... I can't find kind words to describe them ).
Favorite TV Shows? No doubts: Game of Thrones.
Is there a scene from a anime, cartoon, movie or tv show that left a big impression on you and what was it? Again, too many! My mind is easily impressed...
Books? Oh, well... it's difficult 'cause I read two books at month, so I can't choose just one of them!
Games? The Witcher III, but also Horizon Zero Dawn!
Beverage? Coca Cola.
Fast Food/ Junk Food of choice? Oooh obviously FAST FOOD!!
Candy bar? mmm.... I don't know, I think Kinder Bueno aahaha.
Favorite Breakfast cereal? I hate Breakfast Cereal.
Is there something not going on in the cosplay world that you would want to see or is there something you would want to change? Obvioulsy the competition: I hate when cosplayers argue about cosplay competition, award or other things like these one!
What was your favorite toy growing up? My mind: I love to create characters for me and my friend and to play as them everywhere.
Who is your biggest character crush and why? Ahaaaahahaha my biggest crush??? I'm afraid to tell you 'cause I think people could hate me but Griffith from Berserk is the character I love because I think is the best villain ever (and I love evil characters, so I can't resist him). I could speak hours and hours about him, his choises and his personality but I think I'll be very boring, so I will stop now.
You enter a warehouse. There is little light, but you are able to find your way around. The sound of music draws you to a corner of the warehouse. There are FIVE GHOUL CLOWNS, playing a dancing video game. They have razor sharp teeth and scary weapons. Magic can not affect them; they sense your presence and turn facing you. They run to you to attack. Time to fight! What character would you want to be to defeat them and how would you handle the situation? Ciri from The Witcher's saga, of course. Because she is a badass warrior and she knows how to kill strange and horrible monsters. I now that magic can't defeat them but she knows how to fight!
If you had to be chained with a character for one year, what would be the character and what would you do? Sebastian from Black Butler, because he's a demon butler and I can use him to fight enemis but also to clean my bedroom, and this is important!
You can have dinner with your favorite character. And at this dinner you may ask one question. Who would be the character and what would be your one question? [SPOILER FOR THE ONES WHO WANT TO READ BERSERK] Of course I'll choose Griffith in order to ask him what he really saw during his transformation in Phemto or if he has a deeper meaning in the sacriface I did, except the one we can imagine.
What's number 1 on your bucket list? (Something you want to do before you leave the planet). Living one month (or more) in Japan.
What advice would you give to people getting started in Cosplay? Just one: HAVE FUN. Maybe could seem boring and banal, but cosplay is not cosplay if you can't be happy doing it! I starte to cosplay as my favorite characters just beacuse I saw people around me having fun with their costumes and other cosplayer, so I think it's very important.
