When and how did you get started in Cosplay?
I started Cosplay in August 2016. Then as now I am a big Tomb Raider fan and wanted to fulfill a small wish. I wanted to be like Lara once and so I looked for costume parts. Also Lightning Farron from Final Fantasy 13 was one of my favorite characters at the time and I saw someone selling his cosplay on Facebook.
What was your first Cosplay?
My first cosplay was Lightning Farron from Final Fantasy 13
What was the most difficult character?
The most difficult character I cosplayed was Triss Merigold (alternative outfit) from The Witcher 3
What characters are you planning and type of character are you drawn to?
I'm just impersonating female characters right now. Character traits vary, but I prefer characters with strong traits, such as courageous, extroverted and self-confident.
What is your process when starting from the beginning with a new cosplay?
It starts with the sympathy. if I like the character and I like the costume, it comes on my cosplaylist. First I search for exact references and 3D models and photograph them. When I'm unsure I always do a makeup test. Then I search the internet for suitable materials and create the patterns myself.
Are there any helpful hints in sewing, costume design or any other aspects of your cosplay that you discovered in doing your creations?
In fact, I have acquired many new sewing techniques and am more familiar with the handling of different fabrics. I also had new experiences with resin casting. Actually I learn something new with every new cosplay.
Do you have a preferred brand of makeup in your cosplay? And if so why?
I mainly use products from bh cosmetics, because they have a wide range of colours and are very well tolerated by my skin.
What are you listening to?
I hear pretty much everything. But I prefer Metal, Rock, Alternative and Nu Metal. Bands I highly recommend are Killswitch Engage, Shinedown, Stone Sour, Emil Bulls, deftones and Carpenter Brut.
Favorite Movies?
I watch pretty rare movies so I don't have a favorite here
Favorite Animes?
At the moment I like to watch "Shokugeki no Soma" very much
Favorite TV Shows?
Ru Pauls Drag Race, Ainori Love Bus, Rea(L)ove
Is there a scene from a anime, cartoon, movie or tv show that left a big impression on you and what was it?
Not that I remember now
Books?
I love the Dragon Age and Witcher books
Games?
Mostly RPG's like Witcher, Dragon Age and Final Fantasy. But I also like to play Tomb Raider or Silent Hill.
Beverage?
I like to drink lemon tea
Fast Food/ Junk Food of choice?
Definetly KFC stuff!
Candy bar?

Favorite Breakfast cereal?
I'm simple – Kellogs, but without sugar
Is there something not going on in the cosplay world that you would want to see or is there something you would want to change?
Especially in Germany many cosplayers are critical of each other and there are many misunderstandings. Many see cosplaying as a kind of competition, which I think is a great pity, because rumours arise to make others portray it badly. We cosplay because we love the characters we embody. Constructive criticism helps everyone, but no rumors.
What was your favorite toy growing up?
Totally girly, I used to play with Babries. With an age of six I played only on my Playstation 2.
Who is your biggest character crush and why?
Definitely Cullen Rutherford from Dragon Age. I could write a novel here but I try to be brief His appearance speaks to me very much but also his character development is very interesting. He has experienced a lot and this has shaped him. From the outside he looks like a self-confident commander but he also has his weak sides which make him quite charming.
You enter a warehouse. There is little light, but you are able to find your way around. The sound of music draws you to a corner of the warehouse. There are FIVE GHOUL CLOWNS, playing a dancing video game. They have razor sharp teeth and scary weapons. Magic can not affect them; they sense your presence and turn facing you. They run to you to attack. Time to fight! What character would you want to be to defeat them and how would you handle the situation?
I think Lightning Farron would be a good choice here. She's very agile when it comes to attacking. I would try to attack the monsters and summon the Bestia Odin. Odin would distract the monsters while I flee.
If you had to be chained with a character for one year, what would be the character and what would you do?
Cullen Rutherford. I think I would play chess with him und dance. Even though I can't play chess. But we will have a year to learn right?
You can have dinner with your favorite character. And at this dinner you may ask one question. Who would be the character and what would be your one question?

What's number 1 on your bucket list? (Something you want to do before you leave the planet).

What advice would you give to people getting started in Cosplay?
Do your thing. There will always be cosplayers to help you with problems. Take enough time for your cosplay and just have fun with what you're doing.
