When and how did you get started in Cosplay?
- I started late 2012 for a year end party at our college. I was already into anime back then, so it wasn't that hard to get hooked
What was your first Cosplay?
- Haruhi Suzumiya (gothic lolita version)
What was the most difficult character?
- Mash Kyrielight's unascended Shielder version! Armor's not really for me 😞
What characters are you planning and type of character are you drawn to?
- I'm drawn to soft, nice and matured younger girls. They give off that positive aura I like so much.
What is your process when starting from the beginning with a new cosplay?
- I'm not really a crafter nor a costume maker, so I mostly commission someone or get ready made costumes from Taobao. I get the pieces of the costume one by one until I finish the whole thing. Pretty pricey though!
Are there any helpful hints in sewing, costume design or any other aspects of your cosplay that you discovered in doing your creations?
- I ain't that good at crafting, or sewing, but whatever you're good at, hone it to your best extent
Do you have a preferred brand of makeup in your cosplay? And if so why?
- Etude House! Gives off that Asian anime glow on foundations and liptints. Beauty Glazed for eyeshadow and Detail Makeover for extra details (eyeliner, contour)
What are you listening to?
- Japanese pop music
Favorite Movies?
- Koe no Katachi, Big Hero 6, Mulan
Favorite Animes?
- Kimetsu no Yaiba, Pandora Hearts, Zombieland Saga
Favorite TV Shows?
- I barely watch TV 😅
Is there a scene from a anime, cartoon, movie or tv show that left a big impression on you and what was it?
- Mulan was really my role model. She was the embodiment of a strong, capable and independent woman I aspire to be
Books?
- Not a fan of books either, but I like Harry Potter!
Games?
- Kingdom Hearts, Suikoden V, Horror VRPG Games (Mad Father, Ib, Misao)
Beverage?
- Milktea!
Fast Food/ Junk Food of choice?
- Jollibee for fastfood and honey butter chips for junk food 💕
Candy bar?
- Not that much of a fan of candies 😅
Favorite Breakfast cereal?
- Koko krunch!
Is there something not going on in the cosplay world that you would want to see or is there something you would want to change?
- I hate the stigma that "Cosplayers are weird/lunatics/crazy/throwing away money/wasting time, effort and resources". I wish non cosplayers would realize there's something more than just a waste of time in cosplay.
What was your favorite toy growing up?
- It's a pretty porcelain doll given to me on my 7th birthday (still have it for 16 years now)
Who is your biggest character crush and why?
- Tadashi Hamada 💕 He's my ideal guy: Smart, matured, soft, kind, caring, and dresses so nicely
You enter a warehouse. There is little light, but you are able to find your way around. The sound of music draws you to a corner of the warehouse. There are FIVE GHOUL CLOWNS, playing a dancing video game. They have razor sharp teeth and scary weapons. Magic can not affect them; they sense your presence and turn facing you. They run to you to attack. Time to fight! What character would you want to be to defeat them and how would you handle the situation?
- Mashu! She has great defense skills and can be offensive as well on multiple enemies (and cute to boot 😉)
If you had to be chained with a character for one year, what would be the character and what would you do?
- I could be chained with Nemurin all my life and we could be sleeping buddies 😂
You can have dinner with your favorite character. And at this dinner you may ask one question. Who would be the character and what would be your one question?

What's number 1 on your bucket list? (Something you want to do before you leave the planet).
- Marry my sweetheart and lead a simple life with him 😊💕 grow old with him and have kids and grandkids surrounding our home 😳
What advice would you give to people getting started in Cosplay?
- Follow what your heart says! Don't let anyone label you as a weirdo, you are unique and you're giving life to a character you admire. Be proud of yourself 🙂
