Scorched Earth, part 1: A new hope?

Aryan thought that she could escape that crazy fanatic when she managed to get behind a car wreck. She closed her eyes, trying to relax, trying to forget. She could still hear Christies screams as she burned, she could still hear the laughing of that fanatic, and his evil words. "BURN, BURN, for that is your only way to repent! Burn now and I promise you'll burn less in hell, you wretched things, you perverted Demon!"
Aryan suddenly felt something on her leg. She gasped, only to realize this was a sick cat. But now that Sick bastard must have heard her, she looked for a place to hide, but that was too late. The initiate walked calmly towards her. "If you would have not escaped, I'd just shoot you, but since you escaped me, and made me chase you, you'll burn slowly". Whit a smile on his face, he pushed the button. The flames engulfed Aryan in mere seconds, her clothes and her dyed hair burning like paper. She began rolling, trying to extinguish the flames, but nothing helped. She did not hear anything except for her screams and the flames, but then it all stopped. Somebody threw a blanket on her, covering her body and extinguishing the flames. It was the calming voice of a male, probably Hispanic. "It is okay girl, you are safe now, and you are no longer in danger."
"The…that…is he…?"
"Yes, girl, he is dead."
Aryan Smiled and that was the last things she remembered before the pain and exhaustion took over, and she fainted.

"Did she come back into herself?"
"I don't know, but it would be a shame if she dies now"
"And why would you care? Think you could fuck her? She's probably a Homosexual; otherwise that Stupid ass Crusader would not chase her"
"Shit, I guess you right. Well, that sucks. It's been a while since I did a brunette."
Aryan Sighed. "You DO know I can hear you, right?"
Aryan opened her eyes slowly. Her back was itching horribly, but that was nothing compared to the horrible feeling in her shoulders and head. She was in a military tent, whit two Medics. One was a Black Haired white guy, aged around 20-25, whit Green Eyes and a small goatee. His smile was a kind one, if slightly perverted. Next to him was a Hispanic Woman in her mid 30. Her hair was also black, whit brown eyes. Her hair was short, barely reaching the end of her neck. She smoked a cigarette, and looked at Aryan.
"We Thought we going to lose ye for a moment here. What's you name girl?"
"Why would I tell you? Who are you, where am I, and why for god's sake I am naked?!"
"Because you own us your lives, we are the American Scavengers union, my name is marina, That is William, and you are naked because you clothes were burnt down to ashes. And because you were injured in several places and had to be treated. Will you answer my question now?"
"I am Aryan, I am 16 Years old. I am homosexual, yes, but I am also Jewish. Who killed that fucker anyways?"
"That would be Private Hernandez. He was strolling into Florida Keys, and into Miami, and then he found you."
"I owe him my life then… wait…. American Scavengers?"
"Fuck yeah, girl, we are the hope of every sane American out there!" Said William "We are the next stage of evolution of the USA military. Maybe most of our equipment is gone, but Improvise is the name of OUR game, Baby!'
"Well, even tough it was a bit vulgar, William is basically right. Anyways, we are in charge of taking care of People we find, before Militant groups find them. We provide them whit a community, Food and A roof over their heads. We scavenge Everything, we'll use anything, and we will help anyone in need."
