This was my entry for BlackfyreValyrian 's contest on GLAM!, where I reinterpreted a dress from Polyvore.Out of all the hanfus I have ever pixelled, the quju seems to be the hardest to date; the end product seen here bears little to no resemblance to the sketch. D:
18 colours were used excluding the white outline and transparency. Perhaps it would have been better to have used less greys, as the grey fabric looks to be silkier than the red due to the difference in palette. (´･_･`)
Though this is unrelated, I would like to wish everyone a prosperous Year of the Horse. (ﾉ • ̀ω•́)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

Thank you! C: It is difficult to make palettes interesting for something drawing on a colour-specific concept.
I dither rather arbitrarily simply to avoid having redundant colours. I suppose the key is to avoid overdoing it. ┐(´д`)┌
