It seems that I have returned to pixelling after a great deal of strife, though unfortunately I have, for the most part, forgotten my techniques. D:
This is an entry for one of the Pixel Princess summer contests; as expected of me, I nearly missed the deadline.

The palette caused many struggles for me, actually; saving as a .gif caused the colours to grow dull, hence the .png format.

Oh, I see what you mean ! When I know I used "too much" colors, I always save it in .png, so I'm sure I won't loose any color...
(it make me remember the first pixel doll I ever made, I did it on Paint years ago, and saved in in .jpeg, so I had to redo it from the beginning XD)

I used somewhere between 34-38 colours, so it seems that colour count is not the issue. I believe it is related to "colour profiles", but that is beyond my current understanding of technology. :C
