this is incredible... the surreality of the shot is simply mindbending. props on the composition, too. i love the triangular movement from the subjects head to the tree to the tip of his shadow... seriously great shot.
on a technical note... what filters did you use to create the reddish, surreal atmosphere? How was your lighting? did you bring a subject with you, or did you set the shutter to a remote release?

thanks, Gordon! The filter I used was Hoya IR72 (infrared). Thats me sitting on the road... I have a remote control for my camera - comes in handy sometimes. This was taken about 10 o'clock in the morning i beleive

i really like the concept of this...i've had moments where i've just starred off into the distance for a while, and i don't realize i've been doing it, but thoughts happen when you do that. i also like how you fixed the colour (saturation) of this, it's really beautiful
