Description Location: Tuzigoot ruins, Arizona.

Tizigoot is an ancient village or pueblo built by a culture known as the Sinagua. The pueblo consisted of 110 rooms including second and third story structures. The first buildings were built around A.D. 1000. The Sinagua were agriculturalists with trade connections that spanned hundreds of miles. The people left the area around 1400.

Orange colored field that you see is the result of decades of deposition of waste material from the copper mine active from 1883 to 1953. Very interesting to see the ruins of two civilizations side by side.

This is a beautiful view! I see you have been to some of the same places as I. In fact, I took a shot in the same direction from practically the identical spot when I was there. Good to know you hang out in my neck of the woods.

I really like how you've framed this shot within the arch of that wall. And the saturated colors are unreal I can hardly believe how gorgeuos that looks. Was it tough getting a proper exposure for this shot? Seems like the side of the wall on the right would have been way under exposed given the direction of the light source. Great job on this one

Ohmygodthecooolors!! Also, great framing through the window thingie, it's tight around the subject and still lets you get a hint of the view.

Looks to me like this could have been a tricky exposure. I liked the story and info that went along with it. You could have put this isn photojournalism with how informative you were.
I really enjoy this composition, very strong.

Wonderful "frame-in-frame". The color is very clear and vivid. It looks great just from that standpoint. The compositon and z-depth take it to the next level. Well done once again.
