Me and many other artists working in the field are starting a project.

It came up in conversation that artists as visual communicators have a voice to the community and it occurred to me now, after hitting 100k views that my voice is reaching quite a bit of ears. And so much information in the world is getting lost or not being told, so if you've got a voice, you should use it.

I'm putting together I project for breast cancer awareness, not the organization, this is a personal project. I'm NOT asking anyone to donate money before you all go running away!

All artists have a voice, and art communicates and influences people. It's a sword that's still sheathed and I think it should be weaponized.

Here's the deal:
I'd like for any artist out there to create Pink artwork, since pink is the color of breast cancer awareness. It doesn't need to be fancy, it doesn't need to be conceptual, though that would be awesome, you don't need to be some amazing artist to take part either, it's open to everyone. It just needs to be pink, and let people know what it's for. And above all tell everyone you know about this! Every artist you know, tell them to do the same.

This is my contribution, it's the first of what I hope to be many. If you don't already know, the NFL sells pink football gear that the players wear to charity for breast cancer awareness, which is what the piece was about.

So far I have a list of some famous names who have agreed to do this with me. And I'm still in the process of contacting many of my 'contemporaries' to get involved in the auctioned work. Together we're going to sell our collective work and donate all, and I mean ALL of it to charity, no commission fee bullshit. We all make our money by other means.

Expect great things. I'm incredibly honored that the artists I asked have agreed and hope that all the artists I have yet to ask will honor me as well. Their work is phenomenal, seriously, twenty one gun.

There will be an official website for this soon, so look out for that. There is no deadline for this. It is ongoing, indefinitely.
