are you sure you did all the steps correctly? if it really doesn't work , add .mqo files instead of csu. it worked for me.

Alrighty, figured it out! Go to the hair you want, right click, click Change Property, check All Edge Outline, make your character bald, click on them, click the glasses icon on the right of the screen, find where it says List Mode on the top right, click User 3d, find the hair, and size it, done!!!
