Description
Here is a picture that I did of an anthropomorphic animal version of Reptile from the "Mortal Kombat" video game series in my original cartoon style. Because I wasn't too busy doing anything else at the time, I was in the mood for wanting to draw some of my favorite characters from the "Mortal Kombat" games and how they would look if they were depicted as furry characters in my original style, especially since I've never actually been good at drawing humans for as long as I can remember, and I decided to take the opportunity to draw my own version of Reptile after having drawn Scorpion and Sub-Zero not too long ago, especially after remembering that Reptile made his original debut as a hidden boss character in the original "Mortal Kombat" arcade game, though some players such as myself were actually introduced to him in "Mortal Kombat II", in which he was one of the twelve playable characters to choose from in the game. Nevertheless, Reptile happens to be a very recognizable character in the series due to him being well-known as the ninja character in green, which perfectly contrasts the colors of Scorpion and Sub-Zero, who are both yellow and blue respectively. Anyway, for this picture I've done, I was able to draw a simple picture of Reptile in his outfit that he was seen wearing in "Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3" with the colors actually being based on those of his outfits from the first two games, and the type of animal that he is depicted as would be a fox with green-colored fur after I had decided to depict all the male ninja characters as foxes afterwards; In case anyone is wondering, I am completely aware that Reptile was never really human to begin with, since he actually happens to be a reptilian creature from the Outworld that is able take on the form of a human as a disguise while serving alongside his master, Shang Tsung (whom I also plan on drawing sometime in the near future). When I was coloring the picture in, I was able to use a teal-colored texture for the background, and I decided to fill up much of the empty space by adding white stars in different sizes. The picture turned out very nice after being completed, and it's sure to please my friends and everyone else as well.
