GeneralI love working with fire.
I also had the vison of a golden Pegasus in my mind. This is the result. I had two idea's for *horseland-graphics contest. I made both, and I liked the other one better.
At least you get to see this one sooner. 
ProcessI used three different images for the background, foreground, and sky. The colors were ache vied through a massive number of gradients! The horse was not originally that color, of course.
Likes/DislikesI like this one pretty well. There is nothing I really dislike.

Amazing, but, I think it may be just me, but the wings seem to be a tad bit low. But it's lovely still.

Thank you! For the fire, you have to find stock with a dark background. Then you can change the layer mode to screen.

Yeah, with the blending the bend of the wing became kind of obscured.

But the flames and the fire look really real. I haven't seen many people who can do that. It's really beautiful. It pretty much makes up for anything you think you did wrong or could've done better.
