General

This is definitely one of my favorites, but it took a while. It also has a ton of layers...

Fire and water can both destroy, but life also depends on them. Were would we be without water to drink, or fire's heat and energy?

Process

I did all the normal things - cutting, smudging, etc. I also worked with the fire and added it's glow. I have a tutorial for the method I used to create both the colors and blurring in the background. The tutorial is here - [link]

I like pretty much everything about this! I wish I could have found some good ash and ember stock, but you can't have everything...
