ehk.so im sorta stuck right now. on the one side, i love all those shiny meticulously rendered sharp clean images. you know, the kind you see in marvel comics, transformers, etc. theres some people on this site that can render this way like mad. i want to be able to produce that quality kind of work.
on the other side, i fell that i naturally swing towards a painterly style. its easier. and generally being loose and working quickly yeilds the best results for me.
so in my digital work, im always wanting to work fast, but have it be extremely sharp and jazz. so ehk. i dont know what the hell im doing. im also trying to learn to render well in photoshop. but i cant make that kind of information up out of my head. i need references, but i have none! AHK! im dying.
this pic here sketched on break at work today, took it home, scanned colored, shit, etc etc. someone help.

sketchiness is good you know. and those ridiculously cleanly rendered comics, its like reaching godlike perfection or something. i like your painting style.
and sometimes when you don't know what the hell you're doing...the product turns out just right. good luck.

I like this. It has a great feel, it catches the eye, its very well done. I like the wings the most. good work. And I agree with ~e-lie, do what comes naturally to you. So far it doesn't look like its steered you wrong yet, so keep with it. I love it.

i would do whatever comes natuarally and just devolp it to its fullest
but you should go with your prefrence first and foremost
anyway, its time for me to go check ur gallery..
