I just thought her head was longer the male one, but did not want to change it.
Your sketch "Marissa" looks good, the pose is good and the face too. Drawing humanfaces is not my top skills, but I try.

Thanks, but human faces seem easier to me than predator faces, I'm still trying to make a good one. . .like yours, now that is one cool pred face!

I tell you what, make a copy on a predface you like, and then draw straight lines on it, a cross and different sections. That way you might find it more easy to draw, when you have help lines.
It have helped me sometimes Or measure simply with your pen different lenghts between the eyes, cheeks and so on.
Just a thought.

Thanks, I will. I usually try help lines with large portraits but I'm going to try it, though I hate erasing the tiny lines later on without ruining the art work.

The help lines dont have to be really thick... just so thin that you could actually see them
I usually draw them with a bright 2H pen on my drawings, my sister dont even notice them.
The pic you will draw from, if you have it on your computer - just draw some lines in paint or something.
