Explantion:I THINK:
...That Kopa was killed by Zira in revenge of her Scar,
also that's why Zira is banished from the pride-lands.
Simba couldn't get him self to kill her, because then
he would make 3 cubs (Nuka, Vitani, Kovu) orphangs.
Then after Kopa's death they had to prensentate Kiara
because now she was the new queen. I also think that's

Theories are theories. But if you take into account the canonical pattern that the creators made of the films of The Lion King, we can be sure that Kiara IS the firstborn of Simba and Nala.

The 3 pictures on the top were from 'The Lion King' and that is before we meet Kiara in 'The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride'.
If that is Kion (like you said), Kiara should've been with her parents!

Honestly, my theory is that Kopa is an adult while Kira was young or maybe even before she was even born. The reason why he is not king or the next in line is that he didn't want any part of becoming king so he left making Kira the next in line because he gave up the throne.

Ok I think the fact that in the end of the first lion king they had a baby cub, and it was mentioned as a son in some of the books...then it turns out to be a girl in TLK 2; I think it would be safe to say that he existed. He exists in the storybooks that disney branded, and it actually makes sense with the characters in TLK 2 like Zira, Vitani, Nuka, Kovu and how Zira feels abt Simba, and that it would make sense that she would kill his first born cub! Yeah, it definitely makes the behind the scenes details much clearer and interesting. Like the story books of Scar (Taka) and Zira, Vitani, Nuka...it fits in with the LK2 so much better! It explains why Nuka hates Kovu, because he was Scars real son, yet he wanted Kovu to be his air and to be king; so he feels resentment. It doesn't make sense that if Kopa had nothing to do with the real lion king disney movies, then why bother to make a series with one of the other characters, Kiara's younger brother Kion,Β and...while theyre cubs.......because it denies the first cub at the end of the first movie, then it denies Kiara's life story because she's still young so how do they explain what happened to Kion in the LK2??? They should've just kept Kopa in the dang script somehow without death, or just not make The Lion Gaurd with Kion.......Anyway, I also like the details with Zira and her past! It makes the behind the scenes details so much more interesting. She had an abusive father who wanted her to become a killer and he killed her mother. She had an older brother named Nuka, and she was so upset she ran away after that and he went after her to save her, and she almost drowned then he ended up drowning instead! (So tragic!) So she was downstream, then Scar (Taka) found her and saved her so she had gotten close to him. I think she was still a cub and he was almost grown, yet not completely. So she ended up of course falling in love with him and had a cub, which.........she named NUKA!! After her brother! Then Scar (Taka) didntΒ feel he was fit to be king, so he wanted another cub, but instead they had Vitani the girl......so somewhere along the line they (either found Kovu and kept him as their own or.......Zira decided to have another cub but Scar wasn't the father) and Scar has kept him as his own. So with Zira's tragic past, it makes so much sense how she ended up like this! Especially with Simba supposedly killing Scar and stealing the throne. It makes the movies so much more tragic yet interesting! With Vitani....she ended up meeting Kopa as cubs and they fell in love...but Zira hated it, so she decides to kill Kopa! Which also fits in to how Kopa died or was not around! It makes perfect sense why Simba hates Zira and Scar so much even more and why he was so overprotective over Kiara and how he couldntΒ trust Kovu! Omg........also when Zira died, she died the same way that Nuka her brother died, to add even moooreΒ tragedy to the story! Omg IdcΒ if Kopa doesnt officially exist, but who can deny all this interesting info from those story books that fit sooo well with the Lion King movies! Omg it just makes them even better and deeper!! There's also other stories about the others like Nala, I think kovu, idk about Kion...and Sarabi I think......but those stories or fan theories don't fit it with the Lion King movies like the others do.

He wasn't killed; that's just a fan theory. Canonically he appears in the books released right after TLK came out called The Lion King: Six New Adventures. In my version, he marries Vitani and they become king and queen. :3

I agree. I've been getting quotes from everyone, saying that Fluffy is Kiara. But seriously, why would Simba and Nala name their first cub fluffy?
If there's a fan art on Deviantart that shows Simba and Nala and their newborn cub whose Fluffy, either Simba, Nala, or Rafiki will say 'Why Fluffy? That doesn't sound good for the cub!'
