*The eggs seemed to have been left to the elements of the wasteland, some of them having become cracked and broken* *Not far from your position, there was aΒ structure that seemed to have materialize within the bright and blinding sunlight* *It seemed to be a cargo ship that had run aground on the dried lake-bed* *The ship seemed to be half buried beneath the sand and dirt*

Hmm, wonder if there's anything worth salvaging in that ship. Wouldn't hurt to check. *goes to investigate*

*Not far from the ship, there was a rather large dog with many unique markings moving about near the ship*

I wasn't sure if the dog was hostile of not, but I armed myself with the gun I had on hand just in case, keeping it pointed to the ground as I moved forward.

*She seemed to be a catahoula German Shepard mix andΒ she seemed to have a faded pink collar*Β *Her head turned toward the sound of foot steps and she soon began heading toward you* *She was about the size of a Shetland pony, though she was still a young dog* *On her collar was a faded tag that read: 'Miki'* *The rest of it seemed to have become faded and scratched, leaving the phone number rather illegible*

'Goodness, that's a big dog.Β That's radiation for you.'Β I thought to myself, keeping the gun to the side as I offered a hand and asked sweetly, "Hey, there.Β You a good dog?"

*Suddenly her ears twitched and she turned around asΒ something caught her attention* *There was a creature that looked much like a cockroach which had emerged from the ground nearby* *Miki leapt upon it, bit down, andΒ shook the insect about, much like a puppy would with a toy* *After about two minutes of shaking it and tossing it about, she walked back over, holding the now lifeless creature in her mouth* *She sat on the ground and looked up at you, her tail thumping lightly as she seemed to want you to take it*

Huh...well, I guess a bit of radroach meat wouldn't hurt.Β Good girl!Β *takes the meat from her, putting it in a special compartment of my bag and petting her as a reward*

"That isn't out of the ordinary..." I mumble to myself gazing upon the odd sight of the abandoned shipwreck not too far off. "Hmmm..." I quickly scavenge through my bag for any signs of valuables at the moment. "Well apart form some bottle caps and some 9mm rounds...I ain't got nothing.....time to change that." after strapping my makeshift knapsack I begin to make my way quietly towards the metallic hull, keeping a lookout for any signs of raiders or creatures roaming the vicinity.

"what the?" I froze and gaze at the canine with confused eyes, as I soon use a pair of binoculars to zoom in on her. "Hmmm...doesn't look to be feral."

"A collar?" I stutter in confusion. "Is she owned by someone?" I soon put my binoculars down as I lift up a rock to toss against the metallic wall to see how she would react.

"errr...thanks?" I stutter taken aback by her sudden actions as I reluctantly reach my hand out towards the roach.

*She let go and then stood, getting into a playing stance as you held the radroach*

"Hmmm..." I look down at the mutated bug before standing up and waving it before her face. "wanna play fetch?"

"go fetch girl!" I call out before winding back my arm and tossing it right towards the sandy shores.

I chuckle and pat her head. "good girl." I say before tossing the deceased bug aside. "now then...how to enter this ship."

*The door to the bridge, though rusted and heavy seemed to be unlocked* *On long rusted out hinges, the door swung open*Β *A small wave of old air washed out over him, filling his nostrils with the smell of dust and old metal* *It was like the vessel was breathing out a breath it had been holding for decades*

"ughh." I wipe the odd aroma away from my face as I lift up my scarf to act as a mask to avoid the smell. "Well...guess it's time to take a look." I mumble as I slowly make my way inside the old rusted boat.

*The corridor beyond bulged and receded in width rhythmically the further it went, like the shape of a fine pearl necklace* *However, due to the ship being half-buried, everything seemed slanted to one side, making it rather difficult to navigate down the hallway* *On the floor were the skeletal remains of numerous vermin who had starved to death after being trapped within the ruins of the ship*

"Poor fellas." I mutter under my breath as I carefully place my arms against one of the walls to act as support within the slanted vessel. Carefully, I sidle my way upwards hoping to see some thing that could lead to valuables.

*Miki ran into one of the rooms, inside whichΒ was a cluster of what seemed to be large eggs with spots* *The eggs had a slightly rounded look and some of them were still intactΒ while others seemed to have been crushed* *Miki was busy chewing at one of the intact eggs*

"hey hey! easy." I scowl miki while making my way into the room. "Well...this is either really good...or really bad." I mutter to myself. If there were eggs in here, there was no telling what creature was inhabiting inside, or around the ship's boundaries.

*Miki stopped chewing on the egg and whimpered softly at your harsh tone* *The egg itself seemed to be slightly scraped up from Miki's teeth but otherwise was still intact, though being covered in saliva and drool* *Nearby, there was a body of a deathclaw, having been crushed by metal and debris* *It was no doubt the mother of the now abandoned nest* *A large hole near the wall, indicated that an explosion must have destroyed many of the eggs and had crushed the mother's body* *Miki sniffed at it curiously*

My eyes widen at the sight of the ferocious beast as I look down at the egg nervously. "you gotta be joking." I back away, unsure if the egg was close to the verge of hatching or not.
