Head's a bit small on the first mare, which you COULD fix. Otherwise, tremendous, sign of your maturation as an artist.

The paint? Narrow...? Short....?

Now that paint mare is probly a lighter, more refined breed, correct? I think thats what ~msinabottle was referring to.

Actually, she was pointing out (rightly, I should add) that the paint's head is small in proportion to her neck and body when compared to how the head on the nearer centaur (centaurette?) looks. The upper body of the paint is more diminutive overall than her more "filled-out" companion, but her head still needs to look like it belongs on the rest of her body.

I made an attempt to correct that problem in the alternate (nude) version, which is elsewhere in my gallery.

I almost thought she was younger that the other mare. I'll take a look at it tonight. I know of a few websites that sell swimmable mermaid tails if you would like to see them.

She is younger (by several decades, in fact).

I honestly didn't mind the criticism. It's important for me to know when someone see's something that I might have missed, or strikes them as odd in some way. I don't always agree, but those who leave such comments usually have sound reasons for posting their opinions and I respect that. If I'm to improve as an artist, I wouldn't have it any other way.

I know of some websites that sell or otherwise make mermaid tails, but if by chance you know of some I'm not familiar with, by all means!

I don't mind criticism on my works of art either. How long are centaurs supposed to live, though? I always have been intruiged by creatures like that--there are times i wish i could turn into one! try www.emilyangelfish.com and www.merfolktails.com or try www.otterbaysuits.com to have a look at the newest thing in scuba diving-mermaid diving!

Mostly in the length of her head. If the head were longer from hair to chin, it would better suit the proportions of her body, and match the other centauress's. Yes, the Paint's.

Her head is on three layers... I'll see what I can do. Thanks!
