Mark of the Fae - An Exercise in Futility 4-5

In November, 2016, I made my first major mistake by introducing two new characters into the sequence. I didn't have any firm idea of how the basic sequence was going to play out, and adding new characters at this point just complicated things all the more. At first it was just going to be the character's dad. Then it became dad and mom... then brother and sister... then brother and a male friend. Since these characters were essentially an afterthought--their images are compiled here separately.

Unlike the previous three pages, these images are in strict order of file creation date.

You might begin to notice that I became obsessed with the close-up of the the two of them standing side by side. The same problem of indecision that plagued the main character sequence was going to manifest itself with these two. At first the entire transformation of these two was going to take place with that same close-up. Then I reminded myself that I wasn't doing an animation and needed to mix up the 'camera' shots. Then I planned to intersperse these two as "reactions" to the main character's transformation.

Then I couldn't make it work.
