I had to do something to resolve the crashes I was getting with MacOS Catalina. so I bit the bullet and upgraded to Monterey. The system has been stable with no real issues for almost two months (knock wood), so I decided to do another workflow test in the same vein as the last one (

Mature Content

). It seems everything but Painter 2019 survived the upgrade... it starts but none of the brushes work. I've downloaded the trial of Painter 2023, but haven't tried it yet... and it'll be awhile before I can budget for the upgrade anyway.

So this is pretty much all Poser, Clip Studio Paint (Manga Studio), and Photoshop. Behind the scenes, this test also included the physical mandates from my doctor (it seems sitting for long periods of time can cause clots in us old fogies...). If anything, that was the biggest hurdle to overcome.

Anyhoo, the base image for this test was one I'd done for 'Girl Group', which wasn't going anywhere... and so I felt I may as well use it for the test. You can view it here for comparison. ===>
