Yes... The Joker IS the nemesis of batman... in my opinion. Cause Batman is Justice... with a strong motivation to be it, and with a good reason of why he became Batman. The Joker... the oposite, he just like to be evil... I like the definition of the Joker in Arkahm Asylum of Dave Mckean: he is a super genius, that see beyond everything in the world in a diferent way.

ha..for me it was the background on the joker's side.
what's more yin to batman's yang than to say that life doesnt matter, when bruce takes his so seriously? it meniacally beautiful, and i think fits with the almos smug expression on joker's face, intended or not.
however, i dont think joker is what makes batman. i think he just ended up the favorite villain amongst readers because hes so striking, and they ran with it. the scarecrow...now there was a villain...
