Description

The Sanguine Glow-creeper, the newest symbiote to the Whistling Tree/Cricketwasp symbiosis

They originated as parasitic solarphyta vines that sucked nutrients off of the tree's tissues, however, after a few million years of cohabitation, the Cricketwasps learned to farm these plants for a single reason, they can use its poisonous tissues to their advantage.

Cricketwasp soldiers and workers are known to search out the Glow-creeper large fruiting bodies, to spread their spores all over their home trees, and while the Glow-creepers still suck nutrients from the host tree, the added benefits of having the vine in their colonies greatly surpasses the disadvantages

The Cricketwasps actively farm the Glow-creepers, feeding on its leaves and tissues to gain its poisonous toxins within their own bodies, letting the Cricketwasps develop their own toxic weaponry in the way of their toxic spit they are well known for

At the current age, all three members of the symbiosis are well adapted to support each other, to the point that the trees see very few consequences from the vines growing on themselves and have adapted to compensate for their cohabitation
