Yes I am indeed the same Tartarus as from the Speculative Evolution forum. The reason it is spelled "Tarturus" here is actually cause of a spelling mistake made when I first joined deviantART all those years ago. The spelling of it on the Speculative Evolution forum- "Tartarus"- is the accurate spelling.

I like how you describe how the features of the coastal trees have an effect on the local fauna, with the more open areas encouraging larger creatures to come there for the fruit and also keeping them mostly safe from predators.
