Description
PhotoStudio, about twelve hours.December 2009.
(Download will give you the biggest version.)
An Amazone fighting off a tiger to save her bound tribeswoman. This one took ages.
Half a dozen references for the poses, faces and the tiger. The background is a partially drawn, partially a tiny part of a photo.

The tiger's hide might be a tad too hot in the jungle, wouldn't you think?

Great picture. It reminds me of those old jungle comic books which featured damsels in distress on the cover.

Yes, that was sort of the idea. The inspiration was a pic where Tarzan was defending an unbound Jane against a lion or some such.

Who knows. As long as someone's tied up in a picture, it will get faves.

Nothing like a jungle fantasy to warm the blood on a chilly day in Washington State.

Surprisingly a lot of snow (for Paris) fell here too over the weekend.

For some reason, I'm reminded of that scene in Monty Python's Meaning of Life...
"Tiger Brand coffee, is a real treat! Even tigers prefer it, to real meat!"

very cool scene - personally i like very much all this jungle context : wild animals and tribal people, omnipresent danger and ofcource modestly clothed girls

Very funny to post a jungle scene now: we're packed in snow, first time in years.
