Actually, the more I look at it, the more I think of a garden of beautiful roses. I don't suppose you have any interest in wallpapers 1920x1200? Roses (and this piece in particular) remind me of Beauty and the Beast, and I'm getting ready to rework the story a bit myself.

I can't help but have feelings of the Christmas season invoked in me... This has both the appearance, and feel, of holly, for some inexplicable reason, and I specially enjoy the way you used the green and red, opposite on the colorwheel and what not, but the fact that they are also metallic, and pastel; which also contrast each other, and make the overall piece balanced.
I'm no art expert, but as a fan of your work, and an admirer, I love this ^^
