I used Flipnote studio (for nintedo 3ds only!). What I did is to save the sketch and later I painted frame by frame.

very nice and smooth animation! personally i think i'd make the exit quicker and more jumpy because it feels like it takes up too much time compared to the "core subject" of the aniamtion. still, it looks great!
