Description First off, I now realise that the cheek rest and scope aren't aligned properly, they need to be closer together...
anyway, now for gun details.

This is a reltively new CP weapon. Developed sometime between 2035 and 2036, the records were unclear as to which year the first prototype was created. This is because the G8 was updated the same year as its first model was released. This, plus a system crash in the production line caused a mix-up in the registry for this weapon.
the G8 rifle is a bullpup modular rifle. It was based loosely on the HK417 7.62mm carbine. CP wanted a heavy hitting weapon that retained accuracy at a distance and was still small enough to be used in close quarters. Hakkard weapons took the contract and developed this weapon, unusual for CP, considering that most cases CP just makes their own weapons out of available weaponry. Hakkard weapons spent two months developing this weapon, the first prototype was tested and refined, leading to the current design. Through all of the variants, the base design remains the same.

The mk1 had iron sights and a foregrip. Wanting a more modular system, the iron sights and foregrip were replaced with rails, and the handguard was adjusted to the model seen above...making the mk2. Further refining the weapon, CP added a new compensator that doubled as a flash hider. They also added a port to the side of the magwell in case the weapon jammed (the dust cover). This is the mk3.
very little has changed with the weapon. This model has a grenade launcher attachment and hybrid sight, with target finder and FOV scanner. (FOV scanner is an updated version of the enviro-scanner)

the G8 fires at about the same rate as an M4 carbine, firing 7.62 APE-C rounds. It is lightweight and reliable, accurate with good stopping power. However, the rifle is prone to jamming when fired fully automatic, so the weapon is restricted to single shot and two round burst.

This was actually made as an example for a friend of mine. He wanted me to show him how to make bullpup rifles in PMG aside from the AUG or Fn2000

anyway, enjoy!
