a "How to make ribbons/bows" tutorial. i've been making alot of bows lately and a friend of mine asked me how i made them so i made this tutorial! Hope it helps you out.Related content

how thick should the ribbon be? Will it work with any ribbon?

you can use pretty much any ribbon you want but if your looking to use a snap clip or aligator clip i would use a 1 inch (width) ribbon. maybe 1 1/2.

you use 'no fray' liquid on the ends. you can find a bottle in the sewing section. it works pretty well and i use it for my ribbons and kanzashi projects.

LOL actually the materials are pretty cheap and you can even use fabric christmas ribbon left over. a pack of hot glue sticks and be purchased at dollar general for a dollar *vs buying them anywhere else... thats a steal* and just grab some old hair snap clips you may have or whatever you can find. You don't have to spend money on these at all really! please show me your attempts once you make them! i want to see!

very nice tutorial! I will be able to make perfect bows each time now. Tying a ribbon saves me time, but it's tricky to fix it afterwards to make it look perfect. Thanks again
