whats this? a redesign? no, not really.i was just playing with a different style (heavily influanced by Steampunk). i like the results, but am not sure about it. some things i might keep (the wrapped up feet are kind of cool) but others need work (like the fact that i cant come up with a railgun that i want to stick with....)

While unknowning of the artist you speak of, this is really clean and sharp-- there is still a sense of sketchyness, but the crisp color and ink lines really stand out. Form is making a turn and always loved the details in the cape.
As for the railgun, what are the specific purposes beyond "blowing up stuff" or exactly what are you going for? The size reminds me of a good buretta, but all in intention of the aritst.

I like him much better, because you can see he has mass and is "alive" and has pressance...with the cloak, you get this gothic phantasm, and you can't grasp how it must be to live as Shrodinger does--litterally,a dead anthcat,--and the fact you can see his muscles, his body , through his decay, and still acknowledge his power?

oohh thanks. yeah for the longest time i was drawing him with so much muscle and looking so powerful. he was becoming waaaaay to much like a comic book superhero and i had a hadr time getting in the fact that hes really undead. i think the hints of bone and muscle really help. and theres belts... gotta love belts.
i usually ink with pilot pens and color in photoshop, but this time i actually used a brush for some of the inking so i could cover more space. its been a while since i inked with a brush

It's really beautiful. Caped Shrody rules , but this...this has so much charactor . I want to have a spring fling with him and all the belts...but I'm kinda scared.

The presence of visual equipment on his body makes for a more detailed Schrody I believe. I'm loving those new boots ^w^
