Hey sweetie this is absolutely amazing, I'm so rubbish at this type of art, even if I tried my work would look like some kid has painted it, you should be proud of this painting, it is beautiful.

This painting is great from a technical standpoint. I love your style and the rendering is almost photo realistic.
I find a small fault with the composition, the focal point is seems to be a bit to the right, in a weird spot, and I have a hard time finding where my eye settles. The background looks unfinished compared to the foreground too.I don't see too much depth, it's kinda flat. I either would have liked to see the same detail that was used in the gorilla, or a more stylized look, now it is kind of in between both.
Don't think I am coming down on this though, it really is a great paining, I think you have a great style and you have the technical part of painting down, on your next one, focus on the composition.

I actually like the composition. The eyes are in the right upper third, most of the mass is on the bottom-there's a nice sloping line from the hand to the eye leading you to settle there, there's great contrast...I think the composition is fantastic.
As for depth...maybe if the leaves were just a little less...focused?
