Description Edit: Thank you very much to C-91 and teundenouden for the DD - and to everyone else for looking! This was a very nice surprise to come home to.

I've been experimenting with different ways of creating crystalline shapes in Apophysis, and found an interesting way of doing it in this one. I also wanted to try working with more colours than usual. I find it can be difficult to use rainbow-like gradients without the result looking random/chaotic, but I was pleased with how it turned out in the end.

Made with Apophysis 7X (and Apomap to adjust the gradient).

Thanks - I've always liked crystals, so I've wanted to make something with them for a while.

Beautiful. Wonderful light, subtly colored, that gives the ambiance of the scene a quiet joyful touch. Outstanding work with Apophysis, that looks like if it was made with a 3D program.

Thank you for the feedback! It's always helpful to hear what people like (or don't like) about my work. The colouring is probably what took the longest in this one, hehe.
