Alright. Part 3 and part 4!so here in part 3 we see the Thoe you all know, all black and now a dark Phoenix. And Nova here battling him. I have not personally decided which battle this is but it represents a significant point in their relationship nonetheless.
and part 4 where thoe has been through a VERY VERY lengthy process redemption process designed by the higher figures of the dark side of the universe. It is at this point where the two were finally able to resolve their issues and settle a friendship. Here thoe is Novas Lord protector

ive been so long so i do not fully know the background of all your characters but Nova is amazing! i really do love your characters as they are non-traditional and by that i mean they arent just heroic pilots traveling the galaxy but have deeper and different story to them. Love love how she comes from a more regal and magical background not to mention her kickass powers! Amazing!

Maybe is me, but i would say in the bottom image is clear she's the one in charge. Also, her look of "all is going well, but better take care".
Also, the dark aura in the first image. Against all the warm colours gives a feeling of "this is not right"
