Distant cosmostrophe...-
Made for the Distant Starfields contest (space-revived.deviantart.com/j⦠).
Technique: Made entirely in Photoshop, no photographs or textures (e.g. fractals) used. The painting was done with the round brush or custom brushes which I made with the round brush. The various starfields were mostly made with a scattering round brush.
Details: The starfield is best appreciated in the full resolution, and I have provided some crops from the full resolution through the following link.
Process: I have also uploaded some snapshots of the work in progress.

Thank you. My older works involved photomanipulation, but this one was fully 'brushed' as I am aiming at mastering drawing/brushing to more fully artistically express imagination.
