Description Two planets gently drift amongst a strange corner of space; In this very place a particular element, Krypton, seemingly eminates from nearby darkmatter, it is not known why, however speculation results that perhaps the bright warm stars somehow react to the darkmatter, causing it to release Krypton; It is then, that the Krypton glows brilliantly as high amounts of energy & light from the stars interact with it, causing soft bright lucid glowing in space, even swirling into slight shapes as it is pushed around by gravity, unlike a nebulae this Krypton would move quite fast, it would be like watching a nebulae in fast motion, really quite stunning.

Well here is my contribution to ~AP123 's Poster Project, As he stated in his journal ([link] ) you had to make a piece in the resolution of 1000Γ—500 & it had to follow an element of your choosing (if it wasnt taken), I chose Krypton, so here it is. Hope you all like it!

Any feedback is always appreciated.

truly cool job here... only thing that bugs me a bit is that both planets look the same. somehow...

Hey Kyle,

I think for once that I am gonna have to say that I am not overly fond of this image. In and of itself the execution is flawless as always! I just feel that I think it is overly orange and that the planets are over exposed. This is just my interpretation and is by no means a put down Along with this the picture itself doesn't really reflect the story that you put down in the description, the desc points more to a spacial phenonema than a planetary one.

Anyway, as I said in and of itself a nice picture as usual my friend, just not my cup of tea I am afraid

Dave [ Sorry! ]

Very cool texture on the planets, it looks very painted. As with the rest of your spacescapes, this one is great work

Wow, everytime I come around, your work keeps improving.
These planets are awesome, and the discription you give is so detailed.
I would kill to be able to do what you do, plus have the ability to describe it as well as you do.
The colours are brilliant, so bright, and the glow from the stars in the background really give you that "in space" feel to it.
It almost seems as though the plants are so close together, although, I know they're not
Your work never ceases to amaze me. Please, keep up your work.

Hmm its well done, the only thing about this project that i find a little sad is that no one seems to be reflecting their element in the piece...oh btw that was generalising, not just you

But yeah, as a piece its nicely done. Hmmm maybe darken that planet shadow? Dono.

i dunno, some people have done an okay job. But i suppose you're right...

Got to express ourselves better, i suppose, rather than just putting an element name on a whatever coloured planet and hoping for the best.
I'll bear than in mind too...
There are some elements that are harder than others, no?

SamODJ In reply to ALTereg0 [2005-11-10 18:22:57 +0000 UTC]

Yeah thats my point, but yeah i guess some are harder to do. Lie i'm doing Francium, so im going to make it reactive and explosive mainly to represent this.

But yeah,
