I love that album, and its mascot.

You made Tarkus look genuinely threatening! ELP would be proud.

Emerson, Lake, and Palmer should demand some royalties from them then!

Ha ha ha !!! I found this drawing cause me & my friends were laughing at that album cover last week (though the music is great).
I mean, itΒ΄s supposed to be scary, but he looks cute! Also we made different interpretations of the story told in the artbook (all of this at 4 am and pretty drunk). And I was the first one who realized it has a sad ending...

Yeah, I think it's kind of cute too...I always envisioned turning Tarkus into a Transformer.

I was kind of sad when I realized that Tarkus is supposed to be the enemy. Something to do with the Manticore representing youth and the Tarkus representing the machine of war and all that...I like coming up with my own interpretation fo the story better

Your welcome! Yes I love Prog rock especially Yes. I love ELP as well. Depends on my mood. Close to the Edge is my favorite. I've been buying the most recent remasters. I just picked up Drama and 90125.

I haven't bought the newest remasters, because it seems like everytime a remaster comes out, a NEW remaster comes out a couple of years later.

The yes catalog doesn't seem to be like that. The last remasters were 1993 or 1994 maybe. These new ones have new liner notes and bonus tracks. The sounds on them is great though you can still hear tape hiss but there isn't anything that can be done about that really without losing quality.
