Try to leave the iron on for more time and at high. I usually just leave it on top of the ribbon for 30 seconds and let it cool.

some people told me the printer has to be an inkjet one or something, is that true?

You have to buy the paper to know.
They last for a long time. I can't tell you exactly though.
These tags don't dye.

Iron paper.
The ribbon on top of the paper faced down.

Does it matter what kind of ribbon you use? Are the labels waterproof?

CosmiCosmos In reply to rangurage [2011-03-11 22:47:39 +0000 UTC]
Yes they are and the best one that works is ribbons with ridges, not silk.

The ribbon design is usually referred to as grosgrain and can be found at any WalMart.

Awesome tut! How does it work on not-grosgrain ribbon? Like the satin kind?

CosmiCosmos In reply to cloudminty [2011-01-14 20:01:34 +0000 UTC]
The satin kind...Well it kinda works out bad even if you have your iron on low. The ribbon will wrinkle up and burn. Thanks!
