Name: Sarima (of the Miri-Keslar)
Species: Miri (small dragony critters), transformed to be half-human

Weight: 142 lbs

No markings on wings/tail other than a slight lightening of the red on the membrane/tail underside. Feet have slightly darker red scales on top, lighter red bottoms like the tail. Spines are pale yellow/white. Eyes are bright green, with slit pupils. Freckles are across her cheeks and nose, not so much the rest of her face, and interspersed with small red scales over her back, freckles on her arms, legs, and shoulders.
Shirt is always longsleeved, with a sleeve ending in a half-glove hand-cover thing. Sarima thinks that her human body is too soft to be trusted to natural armor, like she did as a full Miri. She hates having exposed skin. Shirt is rough patchwork of forest green/brown, pants are long, better quality in more browns.

Sarima was/is a warrior on her homeworld, fighting to protect her species' (and like 10 other sentient species') home from an invasion of huge, misshapen creatures known as Demons, which is a loose English translation and does not correspond to any religious preconceptions.
She is part of a prophecy, though she does not know how important she is, and is helping train the chosen riders of four (five) Draconic Avatars: War, Illusion, Imagination, and Memory. (Peace is missing, and nobody realizes it, which is kind of a problem.)
Caleb, the rider to War (Rashka) is, at first, her enemy, then a friend, and eventually her partner (and it takes them SO LONG to get there, omg), though he's smitten basically from the beginning. (Sarima's demi -romantic and -sexual, and hates most people, so... that doesn't happen much.)
Her best friend, Aeoa, is also a half-Miri, though she has white hair and teal scales. Aeoa is compassionate where Sarima is annoyed, kind where Sarima is harsh.
Sarima can use magic, though it is mostly learned, runic, and must be carefully constructed to produce the desired effect. (Aeoa's magic is verbal, innate, and depends more on her mental image of the effects.)
Due to her native society's religion and philosophies, Sarima finds a lot of common human ideas ridiculous (one god, male dominance, human dominance over nature, etc.)
Her favorite words are generally rude in nature, and she cusses (sometimes literally) every other word. When she's angry, she gets very creative with her insults. It's kind of impressive.

ARCHERY:
Sarima's main weapon is the bow. She is 'ambi-ocular', and can shoot right or left, depending on what's more convenient at the moment.
