I'm not a fan of dark and cold negative artworks, but gotta say this is the best Twilight Sparkle fanart I seen so far, and I've seen a lot. It's pretty much original compared to the rest.
And technically, I don't say this often, but I don't think there's much to improve, it's sparklin awesome (I hardly ever leave positive feedback)

When I watched the first episode of MLP, My first impression of Twilight (and her reaction to making friends) was that she was an Emo pony.
